This afternoon, Katie walked upstairs. Eli saw her go, so from midway across the living room, he started crawling toward the stairs. He said "Mama" once, with some purpose. Then he proceeded to climb up all the stairs without assistance (although with me one inch away at all times) to find her. Amazing and terrifying stuff.

So we're pretty darnsure that Eli now knows the words Mama and Dad/a. Cutest thing ever.

Also, we caught him climbing on top of two stacked stuffed animals and the bumper today, trying to lever himself out of his crib. Terrifying, but also, kid's a genius. Crib mattress now at lowest setting, by the way.
