Big news

We took Eli to the dentist for the first time (screamed for 90 minutes straight, but has great teeth) and they told us to jettison the pacifier due to a developing overbite. This made us nervous, despite the fact that Eli has been a great sleeper since about 9 months old. Prior to that, however, that pacifier bought us so many hours of calm and quiet and sleep that we got up several times per night to put it back into his mouth and panicked if we left the house without it. However! After some very minimal upset and about 12 minutes total of crying (7 Eli, 5 us), he was completely adapted and chooch-less within three nights. He's all grown up now.

Grandparents may be the only ones with the patience for this
